If you’re curious about making money online or you are having doubts about it. This is for you.

I’m here to convince you that it’s easier than you think.

Don’t get me wrong, thousands of people try and fail to make money online.

I’m here to help you not be one of them.

All you need to know is this diagram.

First Circle — Customer Job

Jeff Bezos and his company has one mantra.

Focus on the customer.

Everything starts from your customer.

Like a seed that has the potential to spring forth into a magnificent 100 year old tree.

Catering to your customers well will grow your company to a $100million company.

Your Action:

Define what exactly you are doing for your future customer and elevate it.

For example, I can say that I design e-commerce websites.

I elevate this statement into: I am a CONDUIT for entrepreneurship around the world.

By elevating my statement, I set a higher purpose and mission for my business.

By aiming higher, you solve bigger problems.

By solving bigger problems, you’re also more satisfied and make more money.

Define. Then elevate.

Second Circle — Order Processing

Your customer will be your why. The reason you are in business.

Your order processing will be your how.

How are you going to deliver value to your customers.

This includes your workflow, your processes, your creative flow and the systems you build.

Your Action:

Map out how you are going to deliver value to your customer.

Like my other blog post, visualise your future business as a factory.

An average customer goes in, they receive labour in the form of a product or service and they come out ideally transformed into awesomeness by what they received.

Your job as a future business owner is to design every step of this process.

From your customer’s first impression to your after sales service.

Third Circle — Competitive Advantage

Now that you have a reason for your business to exist, and a method to deliver value, we now look at the context of your business within the market place.

What can you do better than the rest?

You will not be the only one serving your target customer.

With global competition, it might seem harder and harder to compete.

Finding a way to stand out seems hard.

But it is actually easier than you think.

Your Action:

You do not need to invent the next generation of technology in your market.

Focus on doing 2 things.

Being yourself and doing more.

Being Yourself
Being yourself is a competitive advantage. There is no one else in the world like you.

Every struggle is faced is a lesson you can pass on.

Every success you won is a story you can share.

Showcase yourself as no one else can ever be you.

Doing More
Without inventing the next big thing, you can always do more for your customer.

Do more listening to your customers.

Do more research on ways to solve their problems.

Do more genuine conversations with them.

There’s always space in the market for a business that treats it’s customers as humans, rather than numbers.

Summary

It’s easy to get lost in the infinite details and complexities when running a business.

This diagram keeps me grounded and seeing the higher level picture.

Starting from the customer, everything flows from there and leads to your success.

Go ahead and launch that business, it’s all yours for the taking.
